Evan G Rogers

My name is Evan Rogers.

I was born in Dublin, Ohio in 1983. I graduated from the Ohio State University in 2006 with a BA in Japanese.  Since then I have moved to Japan to learn more Japanese and to take the culture in (now I'm back in the States).  I've been working as an Assistant Language Teacher in Takasaki. Since moving to Japan, I've come across some pretty interest things and stories - I'll be sharing these here.

I've moved back to Ohio and have earned a Graduate's Degree in the Education of Foreign Languages (specifically Japanese).

The wonderful girl you see in my photo is my wife, Yuki.  We met in High School Marching Band - I play saxophone, she played french horn.  We've been together for... what... 9 years? (I should know this...).  I'll try to include some stories (not TOO personal) that might help readers out in relationships.

In May 2007 a magnificent thing happened that opened me up to a whole new world - Ron Paul engaged Rudy Giuliani in the 2008 Republican Presidential Debates.  Since then I've learned about the Libertarian philosophy, Austrian Economics, and a side of US history that was never taught in my schools. Through these subjects I've felt a passion for writing building inside of me, and I want to write about them and explain the ideas to others.
